A map with the words "Valley of Zar" appeared from the documents in the hotel room. And, it was found out that Pearson was pursuing "Black Cat". This is a valuable burial good that is made of gold and embedded diamonds in its eyes. Also, one of the seven boxes in his room was missing. Salahadin asked the taxi company for the information about the person who took the box away, and got information that the man went to a harbor. Then, Salahadin got information that the man went to Beirut by a boat, so he chases after the man. However, there was the shadow of dangerous bandit behind that.

 Rich Man, Poor Man A letter reached with 100 pound check to an old man from his son. He was couldn't read the letter, so he got some help from teacher. Then, he takes a bus to a post office of the city to make money for the check, but he was turned away because didn't have his ID card. And He went to a public office to made his ID card, but he was told that he need his photo. And then, he went to photo studio, took a ID photo, paid 2 pound, and was told that it would be done tomorrow. The next day, he went to the photo studio, but a man of the shop said I didn't know a ID photo. The old man got angry and struck him with a cane. It was uproar, and he was taken to police. Then, a minister listened that story, he introduced a personage of the city to the old man. The old man went to the city again to meet a personage. He arrived at a personage's house, but a personage said "this check have no worth, but I like to help people, so I'll exchange money for this check

However, Jack was found dead on Wednesday. At first, it was presumed to be suicide, but the view prevailed that it was a murder because of Jack was left-handed and he promised to meet Flick. At first, I thought this book was love story, but it was mystery.
