 The Black Cat


This book is mystery.
Salahadin had promised to meet Pearson who is an archaeologist, but, Pearson was found murdered at a hotel in Cairo. A map with the words "Valley of Zar" appeared from the documents in the hotel room. And, it was found out that Pearson was pursuing "Black Cat". This is a valuable burial good that is made of gold and embedded diamonds in its eyes. Also, one of the seven boxes in his room was missing. Salahadin asked the taxi company for the information about the person who took the box away, and got information that the man went to a harbor. Then, Salahadin got information that the man went to Beirut by a boat, so he chases after the man. However, there was the shadow of dangerous bandit behind that.

 The Signalman and The Ghost at the Trial The two stories in this book are ghost stories.  The Signalman is about railway. The man who likes railway listened the story that a fatal accident happen when you see a figure near the tunnel from the signalman.
