Momotaro or little Peaching

 A long time ago there lived an old man and an old woman. One day, an old man went to the mountains to cut grass, and an old woman went to river to wash clothes. While she was washing, a great big thing came to tumbling and splashing down the stream. It was a very large peach. She finished washing and returned home with it. When she cut the peach, out came a children from the large kernel. The old couple named the child Momotaro, or Little Peachling. After a while he grew and became strong and enterprising. He determined to cross over to the island of the devils.
