 The Signalman and The Ghost at the Trial The two stories in this book are ghost stories.  The Signalman is about railway. The man who likes railway listened the story that a fatal accident happen when you see a figure near the tunnel from the signalman. Actually, an accident happened a year and a half year ago before he saw a figure. Moreover, he said he saw a new figure again... The story, The Ghost at the Trial, was first called 'A Trial Murder'. The story is about a trial in famous law court in London - the Old Bailey. Often, George Fotherley looks out of the window of his sitting-room.
