Little Red Riding-Hood

I also read "Little Red Riding-Hood." Once upon a time there was a little girl who was called little Red Riding-Hood. She always wore a red cloak with a big red hood which her grandmother had made her. One day her mother said to her “Ask how your Grannie is with this cake and this pot of butter.” Little Red Riding-Hood was very fond of her grandmother, so she put on her cloak joyfully and started on her errand. She met the wolf on the way to Grannie’s house, but she wasn’t cautious at that time. The wolf took the straight road to the old woman’s cottage, and he had gobbled up Grannie. After a while, little Red Riding-Hood gathered nuts, picked flowers, and arrived at Grannie’s house where the wolf is getting into bed. So she knocked at the door.

  1. I also read "Little Red Riding-Hood."

I think "also" doesn't have any meaning here.
